I have installed latest Automne on my shared hosting (on 1&1). Variable magic_quotes_gpc is globally set to ON. In order to set to OFF, I need to create a php.ini file with "magic_quotes_gpc = Off" in every directory in the tree. (There is no ability to do this via .htaccess file - due to hoster limitations).

The question is: which scripts in Automne are sensitive to this variable - i.e. in what directories must I create php.ini file ?

Hello,

Magic_quotes_gpc is automatically disabled by Automne if it is active on your server. You do not need to do it on each directory.
It is better to do it on server configuration but it is not an obligation.
